WE ARE NOW OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK
We are taking all precautions recommended by the CDC to keep our equipment, vehicles, office, and restroom facilities clean. To reduce human contact, our check-in and launch procedures will differ from the past.
DUE TO ENHANCED SAFETY MEASURES, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU PRE-REGISTER BY CALLING
Please bear with us during this difficult time as we implement new steps to get you out on the river safely. These procedures may change as we become more efficient with the new process, or if CDC guidelines change.
Please call to pre-register.
Payment can be made at that time via credit card to reduce human contact when you arrive.
When you enter our office to check in, please maintain the recommended safety zone of 6 feet between you and any other guests inside. If there are too many people inside to keep your distance, please wait outside until someone exits.
The steps we take to maintain safety will differ based on how busy we are on the day you are visiting us. For instance, when it is time to depart, you may be able to simply board our transport vehicle with your companions and sit 6 feet away from other guests who are not part of your group. However, on busier days, we may ask you (or you may choose) to use your own vehicle to follow our livery vehicle to the launch point (less than a mile by car) and park there. Our crew will provide you with a clean canoe and get you on the river with as little contact as possible.
When you finish your canoe trip: If you drove your own vehicle to the launch point, one member of your group will be driven back to your vehicle in our van or bus. 6ft of distance must be maintained by passengers, which may require more than one trip, but as previously stated, it is a short distance.
We are so happy you are considering a river adventure with us. Once again, thank you for your patience during this complicated time.
